Become A Member

Physicians who practice medicine within Santa Barbara County and hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy and hold an unrevoked and unsuspended license to practice medicine and surgery issued by the Medical Board of California or Board of Osteopathic Examiners of the State of California are eligible to apply for membership in the Santa Barbara County Medical Society.

Concurrent membership in the state organization, the California Medical Association, also is required.

Once your completed application has been received, our staff begins your credentialing process.  Your application is then reviewed by the Credentials Committee and the SBCMS Board of Directors.
